Welcome!

Hi, I’m Courtney. I work for a women’s organization in Northern Michigan and I spend my free time chasing my two beautiful daughters. I’m a fourth generation canner, self taught gardener, and full time animal lover. My husband an I have a passion for self sufficiency and are on the beginning path to homesteading on small acreage. I hope to share with you food preservation techniques, gardening tips, home improvement ideas and various other homesteading information. We hope you will be inspired by our journey and learn along with us!
